Terms and Conditions

Our Plants

The Rosemary Specialist has made every effort to ensure the description of its plants is accurate and that the plants it supplies are true to type.

Use of Our Rosemaries

All our rosemaries are sold as garden plants.  Use for any other purpose is at the buyer's own risk.  Although rosemaries are generally trouble-free plants we do expect that anyone ordering rosemaries will have the basic gardening skills to prepare the site or pot, to plant and to look after them.

Commercial Use

Use of any of our rosemary plants, or derived materials, for/in medical, herbal or cosmetic products may contravene UK laws and regulations.  The Rosemary Specialist has no liability for such uses.

Plant Health

The Rosemary Specialist is registered with the UK Animal and Plant Health Authority (APHA) to issue Plant Passports.

Availability

We always try to indicate the expected availability of each rosemary in our online shop.  Normally, if all the plants you have ordered are in stock we will dispatch them within seven working days of receiving your order.

Where an order includes plants that are not yet available we will delay shipping until we can send out your whole order.  If this is not convenient please contact us and we will split the order.  In this case, there may be an additional carriage charge.

While we do our best to maintain accurate availability the volumes of sales at our nursery, shows and online, coupled with uncertainties with the weather, mean shortages can occur.  Therefore, we cannot guarantee availability or the delivery of your order within 30 days.  In this event we will contact you.

We will not substitute plants without consulting you.

Pricing

The price of the rosemaries is the cost displayed at the time of purchase plus any associated delivery costs.

Any subsequent offers or discounts are not applicable and cannot be applied retrospectively.

Sizes

Unless otherwise stated, plants are supplied in 9cm pots and are usually between 5cm and 10cm high.

Delivery Charges

Our fixed price delivery charges apply to mainland Great Britain only. Offshore islands and remote locations may incur a delivery surcharge.

We do not deliver outside Great Britain.  This means we do not deliver to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.

If a surcharge applies we will notify you of the extra cost.  If you agree the additional charge we will invoice you.  Alternatively, you may prefer to cancel the order.

All monies must be received before any order is dispatched.

Cancellation and Right to Change Your Mind

You can cancel your order at any time up to the point of dispatch by contacting us.

Once we have dispatched the rosemaries you cannot change your mind or cancel your order.

(Because of the perishable nature of live plants the 14 day "cooling off period" does not apply).

Unsatisfactory Goods

In the event that any rosemaries supplied are unsatisfactory (damaged, diseased, etc.) you must notify us within 3 working days (not including weekends and bank holidays).

We will require evidence to support your claim.
